Worldwide Green Day at Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside

Bangkok (Thailand) – October 9, 2016 – (travelindex.com) – As part of the global Wyndham Green Day The Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside launched the ‘Plant it Forward’ campaign. The hotel’s General Manager Klaus Sennik (8th from left), along with the hotel management team, presented 525 trees (one tree for each room and suite at the five-star hotel) to Bangkhorlaem Municipality Office. The ceremony was witnessed by members of the local community and by hotel guests from many countries.

Guest speaker Jeranan Chaumbai from the Magic Eye Foundation chaired a seminar at the hotel on regarding ‘Saving the Environment’ which was well attended by representatives from public and private sector organisations. “By highlighting and celebrating this day we hope to inform all our stakeholders of the importance of protecting the environment in which we live and work,” said Klaus Sennik.
