TAT backs Digital Fashion Summit

Bangkok (Thailand) – December 8, 2014 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Zalora Thailand, an online fashion retailer, hosted Thailand’s first ‘Digital Fashion Summit’ on 1 December, 2014 with an aim to promote the importance of digital marketing to the fashion industry, and reiterate the awareness of the kingdom as a tourist destination and a fashion shopping paradise.

Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Executive Director of the Advertising and Public Relations Department of TAT said, “For many years, TAT has been promoting Thailand as a shopping haven, where international travellers can shop ‘til they drop for Thai arts and crafts, local and international designer brands, and many more while enjoy the fine-dining, nightlife and day-long excursions for which the kingdom is famous. By sponsoring this Digital Fashion Summit, TAT hopes to help enhance the awareness of Thailand as home to talented fashion designers.”

The Digital Fashion Summit was held along with the launch of Zarola Online Store, which is created as a platform for promoting works of 12 Thai designers – Anchavika, Asava Asv, Curated, Him and Her, Issue, Kem Issara, Milin, Munchu’s, Loverbird, Rudimentary, Tutti and Something Boudoir.
