Ramada Plaza Riverside Supports Local Community

Bangkok (Thailand) – July 1, 2016 (travelindex) – A resident of Bangkok’s Bangkolam District who lost her home in a devastating fire is now living in a new house funded by the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside hotel.

The new house was funded by the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside and built by soldiers from the King’s Guard 2nd Cavalry Division and workers employed by Bangkolam District.

This local project is the latest example of the hotel’s on-going Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

Klaus Sennik said,” Our owners have always shown concern for people in need since the hotel was opened 30 years ago. The house building project reflects our commitment to the local community and we are delighted that Khun Aong is now able to enjoy life once again in a new house. We are most grateful to the King’s Guard 2nd Cavalry Division and to Bangkolam District for their steadfast support to this important community project.”
