TAT co-hosts Publish Asia 2015 in Bangkok

Bangkok (Thailand) – April 29, 2015 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is co-sponsoring and supporting Publish Asia 2015, which will be held at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Bangkok from 28-30 April, 2015. The event is estimated to attract more than 400 media executives from across the Asia-Pacific.

TAT will host the warm-up welcome reception on the conference’s eve (28 April 2015), which will feature exciting cultural performances, amazing local food and great networking opportunities.

Mrs. Juthaporn Rerngronasa, Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Acting Governor and Deputy Governor for International Marketing Europe, Africa, Middle East and Americas said, “We are proud to have the opportunity to host such an important event for the newspaper industry, and to welcome top senior media executives to see for themselves that it’s business as usual in Thailand as the country is moving forward to national reconciliation and reform. During the welcome reception, we will take delegates to Discover Thainess through beautiful cultural performances and delicious Thai food, which are among the many characteristics that make Thai culture, the Thai way of life and Thai experience very unique, and sets Thailand apart from all other countries.

n its 15th year, Publish Asia 2015 is the leading newspaper industry event in Asia held by WAN-IFRA, the worldwide research and service organisation for the publishing industry, representing more than 18,00 publications, 15,000 online sites and over 3,000 companies from 120 countries. Thailand’s Post Publishing Public Company Limited, publishers of the Bangkok Post and Post Today are co-hosting the event in Bangkok.

The CEO Conference for senior media executives will be supplemented by three simultaneous events – Newsroom Summit Asia, Advertising Summit Asia and Printing Seminar – and will also feature a foyer exhibition, master classes and several networking opportunities.

The event offers several opportunities for Asian media professionals to meet, network and party. These include a Welcome Reception, the Publish Asia Expo, and the annual Asian Media Awards Gala Dinner. At the Publish Asia Expo, delegates will be able to interact with vendors of services and equipment of the news media industry who will showcase the latest in technology and services offerings.
