Skål International Phuket Elects New Executive Committee

Phuket (Thailand) – June 28, 2015 – Skål International Phuket & Southern Thailand held in March, an election for a new executive committee for the coming year 2015-2017. President Claude Sauter, Vice-President Mr. Brice Borin and Treasurer Mrs. Jirapa “Sii” were re-elected unanimously and welcomed the new members. Mrs. Heike Garçon taking on the role of Secretary and Mr. Richard Mehr taking on as PR & Marketing, both commented “It is a great honour to be elected as committee members of SKÅL International Phuket & Southern Thailand and we would like to acknowledge the great foundations of which this club has been built on over the years by the founding members, our current and past Presidents and former members of the Executive Committee. We shall look forward to growing our membership further and to promote business to business amongst friends with people working in the travel and tourism industry”.

Skål is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only International group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, the industry’s managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest.

Skål International Phuket & Southern Thailand has significantly grown in recent years with almost 100 members to date. Members of the club enjoy monthly gatherings at various venues on the last Thursday of each month and dinner is accompanied by very interesting guest speakers on travel and tourism related topics.
