Muay Thai Live Wins Best Thai Show
Bangkok (Thailand) – July 1, 2016 (travelindex.com) – Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives is honoured to win Best Thai Show at the prestigious 2016 People’s Choice Awards Thailand. The special awards, launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), are presented to popular tourist attractions and activities in Thailand among Chinese tourists. H.E. General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and H.E. Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, presided over the gala award ceremony, which was held on Monday, June 27 at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. At the event, Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives won the award in the Best Thai Show category (64, 053 votes) – making this win it’s second in a row (2015 and 2016). Representing Muay Thai Live was its Managing Director Mrs Viwan Karnasut, and Director of Sales and Marketing Mr Pataisan Bodhidatta.

In a bid to promote Thailand’s tourism to Chinese tourists and support the Thai travel industry, TAT has chosen most popular Thai attractions and divided them into 17 categories, namely destinations, attractions, hotels, airlines, restaurants, spas, medical, shopping malls, shows, festivals, food, fruit, and golf. Visitors from China voted on their favourite activities on www.peopleschoiceawardsthailand.com. The voting began on June 7 and ended on June 19, 2016.
