Bangkok (Thailand) – May 16, 2016 (travelindex) – The luxury 407-room Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok is introducing Salsa Night, a fabulous Latin fiesta celebration with world renowned dancers and music staged at its acclaimed Mexicano restaurant from Saturday, 28 May. Salsa Night will be showcased by sensational dance performances by the remarkable Garry Portugal from New York who has performed for Latin musical superstars as well as US President, Barack Obama. Gary will be supported by the Latin dance ensemble, Bangkok Touch. Director, Saori Watanabe, will present an exciting new dance choreography. One of the most important Latin music DJs in Asia, Ajad Wakitani, will host the best in salsa, merengue, and reggae ton music.

Salsa Night is hosted at the Mexicano, recognized as Bangkok’s leading authentic Mexican restaurant under the direction of Master Chef, Mr Carlos Bravo. Gardenfresh local seafood, beef, pork, chicken, salads and fruits are all included in the Mexicano menu of delicious original dishes. Cuisine is complemented with heady hand-shaken margaritas and 60 premium tequilas.

Joan Ibanez, Rembrandt Director of Food & Beverage, said the evening would include the introduction of Arra Arochi from Aguascalientes Mexico who has joined the Mexicano house band. “Arra is a hugely talented percussionist, harmonica and guitar player,” he said.
