Jatomi Fitness to Be Biggest Player in Thailand
Bangkok (Thailand) – August 20, 2015 (travelindex.com) – Jatomi Fitness announced today that it’s Grand Opening event will take place on October 8th, 2015. Initially this date was set for the launch event of the second Jatomi Fitness club in Tesco Lotus Rama IV. Now, Jatomi will move the official celebration of the first opening at Big C Supercenter club in Rajdamri to coincide with the date of the second location and create a once in a lifetime dual event experience for it’s members and the people of Thailand. The first club, in partnership with Big C, will open in the popular Ratchaprasong area on August 28th 2015 for it’s members only and will include it’s signature member exclusive calendar events leading up to the Grand Opening celebration.
The change in schedule has been made due to the recent tragic event in Bangkok, which the Jatomi Fitness executives learned of shortly after their arrival in Bangkok on Monday evening. They decided that they could not go ahead with the initial launch ‘talk of the town’ activities that were to take place outside of the mall and the surrounding area out of respect for the Jatomi Fitness staff, Jatomi Fitness members and all of the people of Thailand who have been impacted by such a terrible act.
Instead, Jatomi Fitness felt it was important to mark this important date with a befitting ribbon cutting ceremony paired with an outstanding exclusive media briefing that took place to honor their valued partnership and growing relationship with two major companies in Asia: Big C Group, which will become the venue of many more clubs in Thailand and Matrix, the internationally renowned and ultimate gym equipment provider whose global headquarters were started and still operate from Taiwan. In the esteemed presence and participation of top executives from both companies that included Khun Yotin Thavikulwat, VP of Properties at Big C, and Mr. Jason Lo, President and CEO of Matrix, special VIP Guest and Thailand’s very own F1 junior driver Alex Albon kicked off the ceremony as their key speaker and spokesperson.
“We are extremely proud to be here today in our new Fitness Club in the presence of such esteemed guests,” said Tracy Gehlan, the Group CEO of Jatomi Fitness. “Of course we knew instinctively that we had to change our initial plans as our hearts reach out to all those who have lost loved ones and who have been injured this week. However, knowing the resilience of all Thai people experiencing this adversity, we have full faith that this is only a temporary setback and that Thailand will become our most prominent market in SEA.”
