Branding Guru on a Mission

Bangkok (Thailand) – March 19, 2015 – Dr. Sirikul Laukaikul, Thailand’s well-known brand strategist and advisor of leading corporations, who has had the opportunity to participate in numerous Sustainable Brands events around the world and had actively urged the staging of this global conference in Bangkok, elaborated, “As the world has witnessed the shifting of focus on brand building, more and more businesses have come to realize that creating a strong, business-driven brand alone is no longer enough. Since business, community and the environment are integral parts of the economy, the notion of sustainability plays an essential role in every organization. Strong brands are not enough, but sustainable ones are. And ‘Sustainable Brands’ will deliver the inspiration, ideas, community and solutions while companies need to act now to position themselves for long term success in a changing marketing environment.

The strong message from Dr. P’Nui is that “…we have to achieve harmony between commercial and social responsability”. She also added: “Waste belongs to everyone and to future generations. We have to act now to inspire and enable forward-thinking individuals as well as organizations to innovate and implement ideas which contribute to both individual and collective health and prosperity that can be sustained. We also want to replenish Thailand through better brands and promote the country as the Sustainability Centre of the region”.

Addressing sustainability in the tourism sector, P’Nui said; “…as the tourism relies almost exclusively on natural resources, cultural diversity and on a healthy and clean environment it has to work towards becoming more sustainable. The need for sustainable and responsible planning and management is imperative for the industry to survive as a whole.

The challenge for the tourism sector in Thailand, like in any other destination around the world, is to encourage the development and management of tourism products and services based on the sufficiency economy philosophy. It will provide economic and social benefits to local communities while protecting and enhancing natural and cultural attributes.”

To be staged for the first time in Asia, the two-day Sustainable Brands ’15 Bangkok conference from 18-19 March 2015 will give attendees a rare opportunity to meet over 40 distinguished brand creators worldwide who are eager to share their expertise and insightful experiences under the theme of Reimagine, Redesign, Rebirth.

The Sustainable Brands conference will welcome a gathering of brand and innovation professionals from around the region who will exchange their experiences in building better brands by embedding purpose-driven environmental and social innovations into the DNA of the business so that sustainability becomes a core driver of business and brand value.

This international event will bring you a mixture between innovation, brand creation and marketing strategy in the view of sustainability hand in hand with profitability. This is indeed the event every committed professional and corporate organization cannot afford to miss! And we are calling for actions, now!
